Ecovalores is a non for profit organisation dedicated to expanding responsible investment (RI) though research and outreach. Via environmental, social and corporate governance research of publicly listed companies, research and rating services for investors in non listed companies and communication of diverse RI and environmental economic topics.
Ecovalores is EIRIS (Experts in Responsible Investments) Mexican partner. EIRIS is a leading global provider of independent research into the environmental, social, governance (ESG) and ethical performance of companies. It is an independent, company which works with clients to develop the market in ways that benefit investors, asset managers and the wider world. EIRIS’ mission is to empower responsible investors with independent assessments of companies and advice on integrating them with investment decisions. EIRIS now provides responsible investment services to more than 100 asset owners, asset managers, banks, stockbrokers and governments around the world - as well as major index providers.
Ecovalores is a spin-off from Ecobanca with more than ten years of experience in sustainability project finance. Ecovalores is formed by an interdisciplinary team of experts in environmental issues, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, economic analysis, environmental economics and finance. Additionally, Ecovalores has several allies such as the Global Institute of Sustainability in the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, la Universidad del Medio Ambiente, el Colegio de México, Sustainability UK, the Natural Step, among others and is a member of the UNGC and ICGN. We are constantly working to widen our partnership net.
Ecovalores mission is to develop a more equitable economic system by promoting socially responsible investment and research aimed at influencing private and public policy and the support of sustainable projects which help our environmental and the development of a more equitable and just society.

Luisa Montes Follow @luisamontes
Founder and executive director of EcoValores studied economics at the Autonomous Institute of Technology of Mexico (ITAM). She holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from ITAM and another master’s in environmental economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She was an environmental economics professor at ITAM, where she also consulted on various environmental services diploma courses. She worked at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in the area of environmental economics, finance and policy design. Luisa ha ten years of previous experience in the financial and research sectors. Prior to founding Ecovalores Luisa was also a co-Founder and director of Ecobanca a nonprofit organisation, which aims to provide a link between start-up projects and venture capitalists where the first green funds were launched.

Marcela studied business administration and a postgraduate degree in industrial operation, she worked in the finances sector for ten years specialising in risk and credit management. Currently she’s responsible for follow up pin Ecovalores and in the administration and quality control in the organisation.
Enue Piña
Enue is a part-time collaborator in Ecovalores, Enue studied economics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and has a specialization degree in environmental and ecological economics in the same institution. She has a solid professional experience in the area of business and environment.
Lorena Gómez
Lorena Gómez Pineda. She is Sociologist for the National University of Mexico UNAM, and has a Masters Degree from Colegio de Mexico in urban planning she is a LEAD Fellow. In June 2009 she graduated from the first cohort in UNAM specialized course in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. Her professional trajectory has helped her to specialize in eco-efficiency, corporate environmental management, business competitiveness and entrepreneurial skills among other topics. Since May 2006 she also works as independent consultant in these topics collaborating with diverse international organisms. Since January 2010 she is the principal professor of Corporate Environmental Management in the environmental economics specialty at UNAM.

Is an associated consultant in C3 Consensus, he has worked with diverse companies in CSR, stakeholder engagement, social consensus, and observatory. He worked as an administrator director in the Social Security Institute of the State of Guanajuato until 2011, and as Finance Director of the University of Guanajuato. He has more than 12 years of experience in consulting; focusing in systems optimization and processes for the social vision. He is a public accountant by the Universidad de Guanajuato and holds an MBA by the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
Carmen Campollo
Professional with expertise in Indexes and Benchmarks covering a broad range of asset classes like Emerging, Frontier and Developed Markets, REITS, Infrastructure, Social Responsible, Corporate Governance, Hedge Funds, Environmental Technology and Alternative asset classes. I have used the index background to analyze investment returns, to launch investment products as a product manager, to establish alliances and partnerships and develop new business for firms, to educate on investment strategies.
Ericka Diaz Alatriste
Specializes in corporate ethics, she has been adviser to Pemex board of directors.
